چکیده

Crowdsourcing promises to quasi-automate tasks that cannot be automated otherwise. Success stories like natural language translation or recognition of cats in images show that carefully crafted crowdsourcing tasks solve large problem instances which could not be solved otherwise. To utilize crowdsourcing, one has to define the problem in a way that is easy to split into small tasks, that the tasks are easy to solve for humans and hard to solve for a machine, and that the machine can efficiently check if the solution is correct. In this paper we discuss a novel approach of using crowdsourcing to assist software verification. We argue that Horn clauses form a good base for crowdsourcing since they are easy to subdivide, and that logic abduction is a suitable task since it is hard to automatically find abductive inferences for Horn clauses, but it is easy to check if an inference makes a Horn clause valid. We describe a prototype implementation, we show how crowdsourcing integrates in the verification process, and present preliminary results.

The effect of shoulder abduction angles, shoulder dominance and non-dominance and external loading on shoulder muscles co-contraction ratio in overhead athletes and non-athletes

The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of shoulder abduction angles, dominant and non-dominant arm and external loading on co-contraction ratio during arm abduction in scapular plane in overhead athletes and non-athletes. 10 swimmers, 10 handball players and 10 tennis players and ten non-athletes voluntarily participated in this study. Electromyography activity of shoulder muscles ...

THE EVALUATION OF SYMMETRIC RESTING SCAPULAR POSTURE AND SCAPULOHUMERAL RHYTHM RATIO BETWEEN DOMINANT AND NON-DOMINANT SHOULDERS IN ELDERLY SUBJECTS IN DIFFERENT HUMERAL ABDUCTION ANGLES

Background & Aims: Previous studies have stated that the scapulohumeral rhythm dysfunction can make a person prone to glenohumeral joint pathologies. The purpose of this study was to survey symmetric resting scapular posture and scapulohumeral rhythm ratio between dominant and non-dominant shoulders in elderly subjects in different humeral abduction angles. Materials & Methods: Thirty-five hea...

Towards Practical Tabled Abduction Usable in Decision Making

Abduction as reasoning paradigm has been much explored in Artificial Intelligence, but not yet taken up by decision making as much as its potential warrants. Indeed, abduction permits the generation of hypothetical knowledge based scenarios, about which one can then equate decisions. One reason for this state of affairs is that abduction is difficult to implement efficaciously, even by experts,...

Bilateral Arm-Abduction Shoulder Radiography to Determine the Involvement of the Scapulothoracic Motion in Frozen Shoulder

Background: We hypothesize that there is no difference in the motion of the scapula with respect to the thoracic wall (scapulothoracic interface) between the affected versus non-affected shoulder on 0° and 90° standard arm abduction radiography. Methods: We enrolled 30 patients with the diagnosis of unilateral frozen shoulder after ruling out of other pathologies. Bilateral standard should...

Abduction and induction from a non-monotonic reasoning perspective

In this chapter, induction and abduction are investigated in a non-monotonic reasoning framework. We recall that several meanings can be given to logic-based abduction and induction. In particular, we distinguish explanatory and descriptive induction. Explanatory induction is closely related to abduction. Descriptive induction is related to abduction in a less straightforward way. While both ca...
